I run Tumbleweed KDE and have this tiny widget in the taskbar. I want to get rid of it, since I always check for updates with zypper. I can’t find the name of the program though. And since it has only options for checking once a day, week or month and no option for ‘never’ I want to totally remove it from my taskbar. Is this possible? And if so, how?
Mutliple options:
- RIght click on the system tray triangle - Settings - Uncheck Update Software.
zypper rm plasma5-pk-updates plasma5-pk-updates-lang
zypper al plasma5-pk-updates
the latter to avoid it getting reinstalled as a recommend.
Sorry. I never knew this triangle held so many options. Disabled it. Not removed it totally. Your asnwer is completely accurate. Thank you!
