It seems to me that with the today’s update to kernel 6.12.0-160100.5-default Leap 16.1 is leaving its beta status and at least for me can be considered general availability.
a) virtualbox-kmp-default has moved to version 7.2.16_k6.12.0_160100.5-lp161.1.7 which again allows installation of virtualbox 7.2.16 from the official OpenSUSE Leap sources
b) the shutdown/reboot problems have also disappeared (which appeared in *100.4 and had forced me to temporarily switch to the *100.19 kernel from the GA channel)
c) I got my DVB and cx23885.ko, altera-ci.ko, cx2341x.ko, videobuf2-dvb.ko kernel modules back which aren’t available in the GA kernels.
Not a mod, but I disagree. User IMHO tries to be ahead of questions others my have sooner or later, since the bugs have been accepted and handled.
And, FYI: General Chitchat was years and years ago before the move to Discourse.
Indeed I did not check with the list. It is now Open Chat, but I do not think the goal of it is much different now General is changed into Open and the Chit is gone…
