After i updated to 11.6 M6, rebooting causes these messages to appear. Typing exit continues to boot normally. I am typing the messages that appear on the screen as i do not have a way of capturing these messages

Download the Factory NET install CD. Boot from it, pick Installation and proceed till New/Upgrade. There’s an extra option: Repair installed system. This will fix your GRUB install.
On my portable, i already have Windows Vista installed besides 11.2M6. I do not have the rescue disc and there is no way for me to create one. In this situation if i performed a new installation of a major version will it cause any problem to my vista partition?
