No, I meant: “prime-select doesn’t look like doing anything. I can’t set it to use Intel GPU. I tried, and the laptop boots into NVIDIA 470 anyway”.
So I am still on square one, with NVIDIA 470 drivers.
@dgan OK, can you check down in /etc/X11 and `/etc/X11/xorg.conf.d/ directory for xorg.conf files with nvidia in them (or intel/i915).
Is bbswitch installed as well?
I would look at backing out of the nvidia files, suse-prime (bbswitch files if installed), removing any xorg conf files for nvidia and get the system to work on intel as a first step.
Okey I give up here lol I am not messing with xorg manually. I will stick with my current drivers.
Kudos to snapper tho, it saved me plenty of times, awesome piece of tech
Thanks for everyone trying to help
