the update of /repositories/Kernel:/stable/standard from 3.17.2 to 3.17.3 is not in tumbleweed
is this normal or due to the problems with other updates.
Based on experience with factory, it seems to be normal for the kernel to lag a little behind the kernels repo.
Looking at the OpenQA site, they seem to be testing the 20141119 snapshot. And that appears to be using kernel 3.17.2.
Yes, there is a holdup due to problems with LXDM. But that holdup is affecting which kernel you are using.
That seemed true for 3.17.1 > 3.17.2, and a long time if waiting to resolve a bug as in the former. Otherwise a decent gap is probably a good thing.
JFYI, kernel 3.17.3 has been submitted to Factory 4 days ago:

But it has to go through staging and review first.
