Hi… My OpenSuse is asking for update – probably kernel and other updates. Every time I click on the update and enter the root keyword autthorizing the update, the process crash with this message:

kvm-kmp-trace-78_2.6.27.19_3.2-6.6.6.x86_64 requires kernel(trace:fs) = eaa038e67699313d, but this requirement cannot be provided

Any hints or suggestion? :open_mouth:

Try either unchecking the keep/remember password option, or running each update on its own. Some of the updates require a reboot before the next one is applied.

Also try using Yast Online Update, which is found in Yast → Software → Online Update. I use that on the infrequent occasions that the updater applet fails.
