Update - Firefox error

I just updated openSuSE Leap 42.1 and I am trying to access http://www.google.com/ and I get switched to https://www.google.com/ and get a “Secure Connection Failed” with an error code of SEC_ERROR_INVALID_KEY. Anyway to fix this?? I have not found one yet. Firefox is 50.1.0.

Check two things; mozilla-nss certificate package being up to date and try running; sudo update-ca-certificates

Miuku, Thanks for the reply. I have mozilla-nss version 3.28.1-2.1-x86_64 installed. Looks to me like it is up-to-date.

The update-ca did not fix it either. But again thanks.

I am trying to go to http://www.google.com and I am being switched to https://www.google.com. Now then, I am using Firefox version 50.1.0 on two different machines. Works on one and not the other. The one that works properly is on openSuSE 13.2. My failures are on Leap 42.1 -AFTER- the latest updates.

alle diejenigen, die mozilla-nss von mozilla oder mozilla:Factory
aktualisiert haben, brauchen dringend auch Firefox 50.1 aus den
jeweiligen Repos. Und zwar das neueste Update von gestern.

Benutzer, die aktuell Firefox 45.x verwenden, müssten sich noch ein/zwei
Tage gedulden, bis dort ein Update zur Verfügung steht oder ein
Downgrade auf NSS 3.26.x machen.

Install Firefox 50.1 from that Repo, from which the mozilla-nss Package is installed, for firefox 45 you have to wait or install NSS Version 3.26.x

Ok… The UpDate had moved me to NSS Version 3.28. I just put it back to 3.26 and that fixed the problem.
