update errors

New install of Tumbleweed on Machine #1

I am recieving these error messages:

Update error
Did not receive a reply. Possible causes include: the remote application did not send a reply, the message bus security policy blocked the reply, the reply timeout expired, or the network connection was broken.

Update Error
Failed to activate service ‘org.freedesktop.PackageKit’: timed out (service_start_timeout=25000ms)

I do my updating through zypper, so how do i close/uninstall/stop this updater? It is a program called Software Updates 0.3.2 https://phabricator.kde.org/source/plasma-pk-updates/

You can simply disable updates in System Tray Settings.

Or even de-install PackageKit, then the whole applet will disappear (at least , I never install PackageKit and I never see the applet).
