When running the Updates it ends with this error:
QSettings: failed to open file ‘/usr/lib/qt3//etc.settings/qt_plugins_3.3rc’
How do I correct this?
What are the permissions on that file?
the file has a question mark on it and when I go to permissions it says type unknown. and the option to change permissions are grayed out.
Yeah, just open that file with admin priv’s and make sure that at least ‘root’ has read/write authorization. For example:
$ su
konqueror
Right-click on the file and recheck the perm’s.
I just did that and changed to read and write, but after logging out of root and checking it again, it still has the question mark on it. it didn’t save the changes!
