Opensuse 13.2

Hi

During the last updates I receive this error message;

vlc-noX-2.1.5-119.1.x86_64 requires libvlc5 = 2.1.5-119.1, but this requirement cannot be provided

According Software manager I am running libvlc5 is

Installed Version

Any suggestions guys.

And where did you install VLC from?

On my 13.2 system with the Packman repo, I see neither a 2.1.5-118.1 nor a 2.1.5-119.1:

zypper se -s vlc-noXDaten des Repositories laden ...

So, please post your repo list:

zypper lr -d

OTOH, this might be a temporary inconsistency in the repo/mirror you use, so maybe just try again later.

Thanks for the reply Wolfi

I actually installed it form the VLC site using 1 click install, when 13.2 final came out.

But all is not lost, because I just went back there a few moments ago, re-run the 1 click and all update errors have cleared.

Thanks again - Steve

Re-running the 1-click install shouldn’t have been necessary.
But as I already mentioned, maybe there was a temporary inconsistency in the repo (i.e. some packages have been updated already while others still were at the old version), which has vanished again now.
