Use:
zypper dup
at a root command line. This should provide more information, including suggestions on how to proceed.
The following is what I get on running the command
zypper dup
Not sure which option to go for… maybe 1.
Option 1 looks like a good choice.
Or go with option 3, and open a bug report.
Default vendor is openSUSE:
