Hello, today I’ve got update alert. I started updating via console - but nothing installed. Then i start update in GUI, ad i got message shown in pictures I attached here in post.
What is this that missing, and how to fix this problem? I use Leap 15.4.
Please we are not clairvoyant and can not look over your shoulder.
What exactly did you do (do it again and copy/paste all, including the prompt/command line, all output and the new prompt line, using the </> button from the tool bar of the post editor.
Same for
Which program, etc. Only showing the error message does not tell the whole story.
OK, to explain why you should explain those things: many people do not have that icon, they removed it.
And YaST > Software is the GUI program for most openSUSE users to manage software.
Then, please use the </> (preformatted text) button on the selected computer text in your post. Makes it much better understandable for others.
Before all: please, excuse me, I did not see where tags for text-formatting are placed now. Thisd is first time I saw new look of forum. I did not enter Forum for some time.
Andm yes - why I use icon in down-right beside watch: trust me - since I bought this computer (three years) - I user it just couple of times (even half of couple ). I watch it just to see if new update “arrived”. I always update system via console sudo zypper update
Yes! I updated couple of hours ago, so now there is no update alerts. But now, when I sudo zypper update - I get message that some of repostiroy not exists. But, no problem with working.

The fist one failed same way that second one some minutes ago. Kind of random error. Maybe they are updating the server
Often some mirrors are a little behind. And yes, during updating of a mirror, such things can happen. Just wait for one or two hours and give it a second chance.
I’ve done several one-off package installations on 15.4 with zypper in recent hours, after starting the session with zypper ref; zypper up.

occurred every time I didn’t zypper ref within a very brief interval before the zypper in - only for backports. I just tried once again, after beginning this reply, and again backports’ metadata was not found, with no other zypper complaints.
I am getting this error, but I am not sure it is part of this thread.
the installed WebKit2GTK-4.1-lang-2.38.6-150400.4.42.4.noarch requires ‘WebKit2GTK-4.1 = 2.38.6’, but this requirement cannot be provided
I get this constantly every time I boot up. I’ve tried a few things, but they didn’t seem to have any effect. There are two updates that give me this error:
openSUSE-SLE-15.4-2023-3419
and
openSUSE-SLE-15.4-2023-3482
