Hello Everyone,
I logged into my system (Workstation), did my updates and I was already a bit unsure if I should do them or not because my system stated, it wanted to reinstall OpenSUSE_Leap_15.6 and (I am now a bit unsure why, I should probably have waited and checked this out later - when having a bit more time).
Of course, I haven’t done any snapshots of my system (I wanted to do them, but forgot about it, and it is too late now). It reinstalled the Kernel too, and I was not careful enough, because I am now unsure, if it is the normal Kernel or the NVIDIA Kernel.
On my laptop, my system does not ask to reinstall of openSUSE_Leap_15.6, but there seems to be the Kernel reinstall too (I did not setup my NVIDAI cards on my laptop though, so it doesn’t confirm if the Kernel update was an NVIDIA Kernel on my Workstation or not).
Problem is, I do not know my Profile Name either (that is really dumb, I know, I sould at least have written it up).
When trying to launch my system I get:
hid-generic 0003:1532:0096.0004: No inputs registered, leaving [drm:nv_drm_load [nvidia_drm]] *ERROR* [nvidia_drm] [GPU ID 0x00000700] Failed to register device Bluetooth: hci0: FW download error recovery failed (-9) *** more bluetooth errors *** nvidia-gpu 0000:07:00.3: i2c timeout error e0000000 ucsi_ccg 1-0008: i2c_transfer failed -110 ucsi_ccg 1-0008: ucsi_ccg_init failed - -110 Bluetooth: hci0: Malformed MSFT vendor event: 0x02
To my knowledge I have multiple options:
I can either login with root through recovery mode, or normally but without any graphical interface, another option would be to use a 3rd media USB Tool, right?
It is not that urgent because I still have my laptop and do have time in the next days - but I would like to try debug it with your help, in hope to learn a bit more.
