Update applet error, and drive mount issues upon second login

I have noticed that should a user logout and then login a second time the updater applet in the system tray provides the below error from the notifications upon checking for updates. (it functions perfectly for the first session after a reboot.)

Additionally for the second (or subsequent) session for a given user after a full reboot, attachable media like usb drives and SD cards required the root password to be entered to mount the drive. No root password was needed to mount drives upon the first session for a user after reboot.

I am not sophisticated enough to produce a proper bug report I was hoping a more experienced user would be able to test this out.

Thanks

That seems to be a problem of the latest polkit version.
Apparently if you logout and in again, the new session is not properly registered with logind, so you get insufficient permissions for certain things.

It has already been reported though:

https://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=954139
(the second one is filed against Leap)

good to hear

Thank you for the update

Had that in 13.2 but you did not have to re log the problem manifested on the first log. I dropped back to previous version and locked it then no polkit problems. There is a bugzilla ticket on 13.2 not sure bout leap.
