Update Agent Port

Greetings,

I am configuring an enterprise network and want to make sure my clients can receive updates from the OpenSUSE Update manager. I currently do not have OpenSUSE installed so I am simply asking if the update manager works much like other update managers. I.E. Grabs packages from a repo either over an HTTP or HTTPS connection. With that said which TCP ports do I need to open to allow for this type of traffic, obviously port 80 and 443 - anything else? Does OpenSUSE sometimes grab from FTP repos (port 21)?

Regards

HTTP is sufficient. There’s no authentication so I don’t think HTTPS is required.

Thank you for the quick reply. I just wanted to be sure.
