Unsure about firmware

I have been using my laptop with wired connection as network didn’t work.
I think I have the information needed to get right firmware but not sure what to do next.

Wireless LAN present
kernel driver:ssb
udi = ‘/org/freedesktop/Hal/devices/platform_i8042_i8042_KBD_port_logicaldev_input’

Can anyone tell me where to find the firmware I need and give me a link to method of installation.

Cheers

Do the following from a su terminal and paste the wirelss info section here:

lspci -v

Sorry for delay. Problems meant I couldn’t spare the time to work on this.

Here is what I got as suggested;

Subsystem: AMBIT Microsystem Corp. Aspire 3022WLMi, 5024WLMi, 5020
Flags: bus master, fast devsel, latency 64, IRQ 21
Memory at c0304000 (32-bit, non-prefetchable) [size=8]
Kernel driver in use: b43-pci-bridge
