Working my way through a brand new install of 42.2 … no issues with ‘login keyring’ until i install SkypeforLinux … now when starting Skype i get this popup:

if i supply my su password it goes away … Skype works.
If i ignore it and just close the dioalog … it goes away and Skype still works
How do i get rid of it, anybody??

DId the first time I put in my user PW and have not seen it again but you do have to set up a MS account to get back in I think that started today 
… even better, so i have discovered …
just use the web version and connnect to Skype via a browser (I am using Chrome => Sign in to Skype …
so there is nothing to install (no need for Skypeforlinux) … just make an MS account and it allows VID and Voice Chat etc!!
… and so can use skype on any pc with a browser!!
PS: Not tested it out as yet .,. sure hope it performs as it looks.
