Uninstalling openSUSE 11.1

How do I fully uninstall it? I am wanting intall Debian over it. Could I install Debian over openSUSE?

Any help would be great.

You could just simply install Debian. While installing, kernel will look for a another linux, and I’m not sure (OpenSUSE Installer asks it) if it’s going to ask you to replace it or create 2 more partitions of your HD in order to manage the newly installed system.

Good Luck.

You can install over the top. But you will have to manage the install to your existing partitions as it will likely try and preserve suse and install Debian alongside. In suse you would use expert in the partitioner. Debian will have similar.
