Uninstalling Old Video Drivers

Hello,

There was a post a while back (probably in like October or November) and now it’s gone (I know even the internet needs to be cleaned out every so often). ANYWAYS, I just need to remember what command I need to use to Uninstall old NVidia Video Drivers so that I can install the new ones. Unless I was told wrong it’s better to delete old drivers as oppose to Installing the New Drivers over the Old drivers.

I just need the uninstall command that’s all.

Try this

nvidia-installer --uninstall

in a console,as root :wink:

Yep I knew that, Just needed the command thanks.

Also I am aware I need to change to init 3 to get it done
