I have just installed Suse 11.1 with Kde 4.1 - and I’m hating it. How
can I uninstall kde 4.1 and re-install 3.5 without doing a complete
reinstall of suse?
thanks.

Just install kde3 and leave kde4 alone.
Disable auto login and select kde3 from the login options on the login
screen (lower left)

thanks for your reply. I’ll remember that for next time I try kde 4.x.
But since I went for a re-install.

Patience is a virtue. I heard all that before, but realised that when I
have some linux problem, I make a question, be patient for a day or two,
and problem resolved
