I installed the latest version of amarok and all is well with my music now. But now I have 2 amaroks installed and I want to unistall the old one. When I go to Yast and try to remove by unchecking it, I get a bunch of files saying they depend on amarok and If I unsitall it will also unistall a bunch of other stuff. I know theres a way but cant figure it out.
They are probably the files that come with the Amarok package you want to uninstall so it is ok to uninstall them as well. Perhaps you could post the list here so we can check it just to make sure.

All is well. I went ahead and did the remove anyway. You are correct. It was moving stuff it had installed already. All is well and good. Thanks for the response.
