Uninstall a network card

Maybe this thread should be under Network/Wireless but I leave that to the moderator to decide.
Anyway I recently got a new W-Lan card and I want this card to replace my old Linksys Wireless G since it doesn’t have any Linux support. How do I uninstall the Linksys in the proper way? Removing the driver and stuff?

Unless it is causing probs with the new card then just setup the new
one.

if you have been trying to use ndiswrapper or such for the old one then
once the new one is working the old on should not be called and as the
driver et al is only a small module un-installing is not going to gain
much drive space back.

In other words if it don`t break anything then leave it

You were right baskitcaise. I didn’t have to do anything.[SOLVED]Now it works perfectly fine.

I can recommend D - Link DWL - G510 it works out of the box.
