Unichrome Pro 3d problem on Opensuse 10.3

Hi,

I’m a complete newbie at Linux but wanted to give it a try and see for myself. I’ve installed Opensuse 10.3 on an Asrock P4VM800 that has a Unichrome 3d pro integrated graphics chip. I Googled and found this: OpenChrome for OpenSUSE

I downloaded the package but I don’t know how to install it. If someone could explain to me step by step what to do would be a lot of help to me. Please keep in mind that I’m a complete newbie, and have no idea of Linux/Unix commands so any help is appreciated.

Thx!

Hi
I would recommend no using the ones you downloaded. You need to look at
adding the files via 1-click, search here for openChrome (Select the
X11 one);

http://software.opensuse.org/search

Then follow the setup info in the link or from the openChrome project
site.

Hi,

Thanks for the info, I’ll try that when I get back home.
