I already reported this as a bug, but wanted to post this here in case anyone else has ever seen this issue before. I was trying to download VSCodium via sudo zypper install codium. It gave me an error, so I went through the process a second time and now I receive this error every time I try to install VSCodium via Konsole:
Unexpected exception.
Invalid path name component '/paulcarroty/vscodium-deb-rpm-repo/raw/master/pub.gpg[gitlab.com_paulcarroty_vscodium_repo]'
Please file a bug report about this.
See http://en.opensuse.org/Zypper/Troubleshooting for instructions.
I also now receive this message when I try to use YaST for online updates, software management, and software repositories:
Errors occurred while restoring the repository configuration.
Invalid path name component '/paulcarroty/vscodium-deb-rpm-repo/raw/master/pub.gpg[gitlab.com_paulcarroty_vscodium_repo]'
Hi
That’s a third party repository, did you follow up with the owner of the repository? That’s not a zypper bug… Disable the faulty repository and your ability to update will return.
So, when I do this it shows that no software repositories are present. Everything is blank, which I am guessing means that I have not installed any software repositories. So, now the question is why does my computer always try that path and come up with an error?
Since I only installed OpenSUSE a few days ago and haven’t done much with it, I just decided to do a clean install of it. Sorry if I wasted any time. All seems to be working well now.
