Hello,
I’m using the latest OpenSuse stable version. I’m in Gnome. When I attempt to transfer files to the phone, the transfer fails with just a yellow warning saying “There was an error”. That’s it. I don’t know where to look for logs. My Android phone (Note 2 with latest push from VZ) just says that the file transfer stopped.
At this point it would be better for me to copy the files to dropbox and pull them down rather than using Bluetooth.
How can I see the logs?
Thanks,
JPD

If they are system logs, all of them are under /var/log/. To find out
which, list them by date: “ls -ltr /var/log/”.

I can’t help directly (as I’m using KDE with a different blutooth stack), however if you get stuck you could also try using an alternative file transfer (CLI) utility called ObexFS (a FUSE-based filesystem using ObexFTP)
https://software.opensuse.org/package/obexfs
Usage is described here
