Hello all,
Background: New linux user, Just installed Opensuse 12.2 on a 8,2 macbook Pro.
During installation I was unable to read my wireless card to use wifi, although my ethernet connection works fine. I have found guides showing how to fix this issue for windows computers(Ndiswrappe https://en.opensuse.org/SDB:Ndiswrapper)r , but have not attempted to run the program as the computer is a mac. can anybody point me in the right direction to make Ubuntu recognize my wireless card.
I apologize for any misuse of terms, and will provide more info if needed.
Thanks,
Kurtis

When you use ndiswrapper, you use a Windows driver, not Windows itself. You
should do that only if you need to.
Have you read the stickies at the start of this forum? They will tell you how to
report what device you have, and how to make the preliminary testing.
