I’ve found a workaround in gentoo forums. It seems Apple has patched trailers web against non-quicktime-players. So the workaround:

  1. Install a Firefox addon called UserAgentSwitcher
  2. Add a new User Agent and with…

QuickTime/7.6.2 (qtver=7.6.2;os=Windows NT 5.1Service Pack 3)

…as UserAgent value.

  1. Use this new User Agent whenever you want to watch an Apple trailer.
