I am using openSuse 13.1 I downloaded suphp-0.7.1-5.3.x86_64.rpm from a site. I tried to install package using zypper install suphp-0.7.1-5.3.x86_64.rpm. However, I got the error message
“nothing provides apache_mmn_20051115 needed by suphp-0.7.1-5.3.x86_64.rpm”.
I switched the computer off. After restarting computer when I typed in command zypper install suphp-0.7.1-5.3.x86_64.rpm and zypper se suphp-0.7.1-5.3.x86_64.rpm I got following error message
“Download (curl) error for ‘http://downloaded.opensuse.org/distribution/13.2/repo/non-oss/content’:
Error code:Connection failed
Error message: Could not resolve host:download.opensuse.org Abort, retry, ignore?”.
I do not understand what’s going on and how to put right whatever the problem is. I’ll be very grateful for all help.
openSUSE 13.2 is no longer supported, that is why it gives you the error that it cannot connect to the 13.2 repository to download the necessary dependencies.
You must use Leap 42.2
There are no more updates for openSUSE 13.1 or 13.2, thus the repos have been closed (ie: do not exist, so of course the connection failed.
Both of those versions are past EOL.
