Unable to install from USB drive, ACPI error causes no USB drive

Hi,

I recently wanted to reinstall OpenSuSE on my PC.
However I get these ACPI error messages.

These messages appear on the currently running linux as well.
However they don’t bothered me so far, because they don’t cause any issue with the running system.
When the currently installed system is running, all USB ports are working fine.

I’m sure the USB drive is working fine, it is working fine in another machine. And it also boots, but then the USB sockets seemingly disappear.
The boot process hangs for a while with the ACPI errors, but moves forward after a couple of minutes, but stops again, saying that the Leap install disk does not exist. (I only have a picture of this, the sosreport does not have it saved)
The USB drive’s LED is lit up, indicating there’s at least power going to it. And I don’t see it going out.

My motherboard is an ASUS B450-F, with 32GB RAM, and an Ryzen 5 3600CPU.

Thank you in advance for any help.

How you created the “Leap install disk”?

With Rufus 4.11. In the recommended ISO mode. GPT partition scheme.
But it is booting. The boot menu comes up, I can select that I want to install leap. But after a couple of quick messages, the ACPI errors come up.

That won’t work. You need dd mode and use the full stick, not partition.

Thank you very much for the help.
I tried Balena Etcher instead. And now it is booting fine.
I guess Rufus would also work in dd mode, but I won’t bother with it now.
