Unable to Increase Display Resolution

I am running openSUSE 11.1 on my HP Pavilion dv6000 laptop. I installed SUSE just a few minutes ago, and the first thing I noticed was that there was a problem with my resolution. So, I went to display settings, yet I am unable to change the resolution to anything higher than 800x600 (I would prefer 1366x768).

What can I do to solve this?

If you need more information, feel free to ask.

Thanks in advance.

Probably because you have not installed a video driver and you are currently using the vesa driver which has limited capabilities.
Tell us what video hardware you have?

Which way will depend on your choice

But do have a look round the groups and see what others have done to
install.

If you have probs just holler someone will help.

Let us know how you get on.
