Unable to get KDE/Desktop after Update

I am using 13.1 (Upgraded from 12.3) on my desktop with ASUS motherboard (AMD athlon 7750 Dual core 2.70Ghz) with 2GB RAM & Nvidia 210 Geforce card.
Nvidia drivers were installed & working fine until y’day 7-Feb-2014 I updated system using ‘sudo zypper up’

Update for many KDE things were shown also the typical flash player update (Total size approx 230MB+). After successful update message, I rebooted the system & it shown OPENSUSE Geko wallpaper, but no KDE loading animation. It took me to terminal directly.

I tried reinstalling nvidia drivers (Downloaded earlier & working fine before this update) No luck with that.
I tried initializing x (‘init 5’) only geko wallpaper screen (this kind of screen at the time of booting - Image here) Nothing happens further. Unable to get the five glowing icons of KDE loading.

Is some issue with KDE? or as usual Nvidia card is pulling my leg?

Recovery mode works without X & appears like a frame on my 21inch DELL monitor. while accessing nvidia settings it gives that nvidia x is not running (in recovery mode).

Any fix/suggestion appreciated
Thanks

There was a recent kernel update, so you will need to update the nvidia drivers (from recovery mode).

I reinstalled the Nvidia drivers after the kernel update but now i have x stuck at 640x480 any ideas how to get everything back where it should be?

Thanks

Did you get any error message when reinstalling the driver?

Can you please post the file /var/log/Xorg.0.log? (Upload it to http://susepaste.org and post a link, as it’s probably too big to post here directly)
