Unable to download list of repositories or no repositories defined - openSUSE 13.2

I have installed openSUSE 13.2 64 bit with XFCE, I am trying to add several community repositories (e.g. packman) using YaST. In the Configured Software Repositories I click Add -> Community Repositories, in the Add On Product screen I leave the Repository Name empty as I want to obtain a list of the available repositories, click Next, then I get this warning: Unable to download list of repositories or no repositories defined. I had no problem with this operation in the 13.1 and older. Is there anything that I am missing? Thanks.

Yes, this is not working at the moment in Factory.
Either the list is missing on the server, or YaST tries to download via a wrong URL.

For now, you have to add the repositories manually.
For Packman you could use e.g. http://packman.inode.at/suse/factoy .

If you need a specific URL for a repo, just ask. Or browse http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/ directly with a web browser to find out the URL.

Or use http://download.opensuse.org/search to find packages and install them including adding the repo.

Thanks for the quick reply. Will look into it following your suggestions.

I just noticed that I made a typo in the Packman URL.
It should be “factory” of course, not “factoy”…:shame:

http://packman.inode.at/suse/factory/

And the software search page is http://software.opensuse.org/search .

Please post 13.2 questions in the Pre-release/Beta forum. That is the place where your fellow testers are.

Will do. Thanks.
