I am not able to boot the openSUSE LEAP 42.1 installation USB drive either with Secure Boot enabled or disabled.
With secure boot enabled, I get the following error message: http://i.imgur.com/j5WrECx.jpg
With secure boot disabled, I get MokManager error message from GRUB.
The openSUSE 42.1 installation USB drive was created by SUSE Studio ImageWriter.
Is there any suggestions?
By the way, isn’t openSUSE 42.1 already signed? Why would it encounter the Secure Boot issue in the first place?
Unfortunately, there are some bugs that crept into EFI support with 42.1. There should be an update soon, but that’s too late for the install iso. Whether the bugs affect you, depends on your system firmware.
The bugs should not be a problem with secure-boot disabled. So I’m not sure what went wrong there. Was there any error message in that case?
Yes. There was an error message related to MokManager, but I can’t remember the whole sentence.
I will boot again and note down the error message later.
I have waited for a few minutes, but the message stays there.
Also, the LED indicator light on the USB Drive did not blink at all after the error message was displayed.
