I’ve added the various packman repositories, and none seem able to help me add audiokonverter. Have not been able to find mppdec as a standalone installation for openSUSE either. One-click install for audiokonverter results in the same unmet dependency.
The nearest way to install mppdec I’ve been able to find is through the Musepack site, and the tar.gz file located on this site Musepack - MPC for Linux…but I don’t know what to do with this, didn’t see any Read Me files guiding me on making this.
Short of installing audiokonverter, anybody know of a way I can convert my *.ogg files to *.mp3? Trying to use lame yields:
stir-crazy@linux-xwhy:/> lame myogg.ogg mymp3.mp3
sorry, vorbis support in LAME is deprecated.

Thanks for responding. I wasn’t able to find it either as a package search through YaST nor through packman. However, I found it on a google search for “packman pacpl”, which takes me HERE (guess I should use the German hosted webpage for packman?), which unfortunately states “This package has no releases.”
Going to the sourceforge homepage for pacpl and clicking the SuSE download link leads me back to the packman website.
I’m very new to OpenSUSE (much more familiar with Debian and its variants); is there some restriction I need to remove on my repositories or elsewhere that’s currently preventing installation? From my forum searches, seems most others have had success with similar issues, though the offered solutions haven’t been working for me.

OK I just looked and it seems it might not be there.
I’ll get in touch with them to add it back in. There has just been a big reorganise with the repos.
