Unable to access university WLAN Network

Same problem here, in Jena: WPA-Enterprise fails repeatedly and keeps asking for password.

Unfortunately the solutions displayed here (change frontend, uninstall networkmanager-kde or the plasmoid - I tried both - using system Certs, etc…) did not work.

This looks very much like a bug very well upstream. I have been reading around and many many people lately have reported broken WPA, many of them with the following error popping up in dmesg:

wlan0: deauthenticated from (...) by local choice (reason=3)

Apparently other distros DO NOT have the bug, as in the office above mine a Kubuntu guy is able to connect with my very same KDE (4.5.3), NetworkManager & KnetworkManager plasmoid.

This is starting to get really annoying. I do not even know which bug to file as this is too much upstream for my limited knowledge…

To use the the other alternative front-ends/applications for the Networkmanager (and presumably also for the wpa_supplicant)

did also not work for you (as it did for the original poster erget), see:
Unable to access university WLAN Network - post #14 of this thread=post2253484 ?

But in any case: I think a bugreport in the Novell/openSUSE bugzilla would make sense.

Guessing around:
Maybe you could see more about the cause of the presumed malfunction if you (install some debug-packages and) start something form the console?

Good luck
