I’m a new user and have now got openSUSE 11 working on my laptop after initial problems with the ATI Drivers.
Can anyone recommend a good magazine subscription etc for a new Linux user?

well, i have a dead tree subscription to both Linux Format AND Linux
Journal <http://www.linuxjournal.com/> and recommend both…however,
the latter is aimed at a more advanced user/reader than the is former…

and, it is NOT free in europa either…you might have noticed is has
almost no ads…
oh, there is also a Linux Magazine <http://www.linux-magazine.com/>
which comes in paper form…and a lot of articles are available on line
(and ALL of them for subscription which is MUCH less than paper mailed)
