I use for years a ugreen usb 3.0 + ethernet hub on different laptops and desktops.
Since yesterday, one of my laptop freeze when I use the hub.
I made a reinstall of 15.3 on this computer but does not help.
Any help is welcome
You seem to have more of those devices. Did you try to exchange the one with another one to check if it is not broken?
You seem to trigger an actual kernel bug:

Likely there is something wrong with the hardware but that should not trigger this type of problems I think.
The problem seems to be easily reproduced, can you try booting an USB stick either Leap 15.4 or Tumbleweed. Can you reproduce the problem there?

No problems using a live-cd gecko linux with kde desktop 15.4 and 15.3
When booting from hdd with 15.3 :
System freeze at step locale (while booting with ugreen usb 3.0 hub already inserted ).
After booting, system freeze when inserting ugreen usb 3.0 hub.
I confirm notepad with 15.2 kernel 5.3.18-lp052.106-preempt has no problem.
How about updating to 15.4?
