After a few bumps and bruises with doing an unsuccessful online upgrade, I finally got things up and going.
After the online failed I dnloaded the x86_64 DVD and all is well.
I didn’t even have to mess with the wireless drivers, using the ath5k driver for the first time.
I love my openSUSE!!!
