I have read a lot of thread on this subject.
I am using nrickert blogs samples.
1°) As we are creating a new EFI boot partition could you confirm it is in FAT type
2°) As we can’t have two partitions with the same mount point, I suppose we just remove the mount point (not the partition) for the microsoft windows efi boot partition.
Assuming that you mounted your new EFI partition at “/boot/efi” and allowed the installer to format it for you, it should have taken care of making it FAT and assigning it the partition type code for EFI.[/QUOTE]
I’m not sure why the system didn’t notify me of a new comment on the blog. And, now that I check, I see that I missed another comment too.
When using gparted during install process, and for the part concerning the boot process :
1°) have added a new partition
2°) Click on format to let the installer format it
3°) Choose format type : FAT
4°) Choose mount and set Mount Point to : /boot/uefi
5°) Have put a label as usual in case of debugging
