Can a portal somewhat like the ubuntu-forums one be added, currently it looks a bit messy (especially the archives), and would allow for more subforums without looking cluttered

Everyone’s definition of what looks/works good and what doesn’t is a little
different. We’ve put a lot of work into what you see today but as we find
some particular thing isn’t working well, or we find a better way to do it
than we’re currently doing, we’ll consider changes to our setup. Thanks

I’d agree. I was quite found of going to the old suseforums. The new layout is hard to read and half of the categories are missing. Seems like none of the suseforums stuff is in the archives either but I could be wrong on that. I’ll give it a while longer but I think the new combined forum will loose me as a member.
When looking at the archives make sure your filter is set to look at all articles and not to filer on, say, the last week.
I’m not an admin here but categories will be added as I have read, but the key is to do this in a manner that it does not get too spread out (e.g. having too many categories).
Give it some time as your suggestions are noted
