Two display, mirror like effect!!!

Hello I’m new to the forum and also to linux. I installed OpenSUSE today as a guest OS in VMware 10. The installation was successful but when i logged in, I see a desktop screen split into two. I did everything to make it look normal, but i failed. I unistalled open-vmware-tools and installed vmware tools too, but it doesn’t seem to help.
Here are some of the images of my OpenSUSE desktop. Can anyone help me as to what is wrong with the display.

Please Help me!!!

What openSUSE version did you install?

That is 13.1’s theme in the pics.

Obviously a video problem but I don’t know VMware at all any more It would require the correct drivers to be installed but I don’t know which. Try Virtualbox the VBox drivers are built into the kernel

I remember running into this but on an old ESX install, here’s a long shot and take a snapshot of your VM before you do this;

Go to YAST / System / Boot Loader, Kernel Parameters and add vmwgfx.enable_fbdev=0 to the end of the Optional Kernel Command Line Parameters, click OK and reboot.
