TW Boot fails after update

Hello,
I updated with “zypper dup” (which I am doing for years). Update process reports success.
However, after I boot, the system immediately hangs after the splash screen is shown. No time to press “ESC” to show messages.

My system is:

Boot without quiet and with plymouth.enable=0 on kernel command line.

After the latest updates, everything works again.
No chance to find the root cause…
