TV card FusionHDTV DVB-T Lite Not working

Hi I hope you can help me here.

On a former system running 12.1 the exact same TV card was working. Since it was my understanding that cards running under 12.1 would run also under “13.1”, so I thought it was a good bet that everything went smooth (bought a new card) … no such thing. Here some info out of yast-hardware-information

I also saved to file all the hardware information.(totally different layout). I browsed through the file and found

 <6> 10.224225] EDAC amd64: DRAM ECC disabled.

… “tuner absent”, which should be a "Conexant CX23881 chip and Thomson7579 tuner ?!?

I installed all the latest

libxine1 (now libxine2)
libxine1-codecs Speex
Mplayer Firefox

Any help would be much appreciated

Cheers otto_oz

By the way I gave up on it (it caused a lot of problems which I am still trying to fix) and gave the card to a friend who has a ubuntu box and a windows box. See if he gets it working on ubuntu, if not, well …
