My nephew would like to use gutar pro on windows, he also has opensuse 13.2 installed (by me ;)) and I saw that tuxguitar should work also with guitar pro files in export or import and also works on windows.
could somebody confirm this and also that tuxguitar works well on opensuse?
and also, is it possible to have in the repository

Yeap, TuxGuitar works well in OpenSUSE (at least in 42.1 and 42.2). You can use the education repo or donwload from the source (https://sourceforge.net/projects/tuxguitar/) wich I strong recommend, because this repo doesn’t have the last version.
One thing to keep in mind is that TuxGuitar is a bit less friendly than guitar pro and some functionality is missing (for example RSE).
I think TuxGuitar also can’t open the latest files created by guitar pro (this was true in the past at least).
