Turn on your computer!

Hi everyone:

Yes everyone of us or some of as turn on the computer,you or I can chose WinXP,openSUSE 11.1,failsafe openSUSE 11.1.
I chose openSUSE 11.1 to start up at the 1/2 of the end I press ESC it change to text.
More then 3/4 way down screen it tell as::
Staring cron daemon at the end of the screen tell me or you:
Welcome to openSUSE 11.1-kernel 2.6.27.7-9-pae (tty1)).

Login XXX
Password XXXX
What I~m looking for it is how ca I see my desktop…?

Last word,last login: SUN JAN. 25 14:2551 PST 2009 from console on :0 Have a lot of fun…

My question is how can i get into the desktop :’(.
I screw up big time.
Please can one of you help or give me a hand.
Now I`m using or login with failsafe openSUSE 11.1. I have no choice only to use now failsafe openSUSE 11.1 and what do I have to do to use openSUSE 11.1-2.6.27.7.9

Please can someone give me the answere :’(

What does it say when you use the startx command?

If you tried to install your graphic cards drivers before this happened (and assuming it’s a nvidia like you mentioned in another thread), in sequence as root use the commands**
nvidia-xconfig**
sax2 -r

The command


nvidia-xconfig

is executed automatically in the nvidia installer, but the


sax2 -r -m 0=nvidia

isn’t. Also try out this one.
