Tumblweed update issue

Since the last update that updated kernel components ( a few days ago) I have lost all sound and the ability to play videos. A google search did not show others experiencing these problems. I went ahead and did a reboot with no effect.

The sound issue appears to be a kernel module issue as I am getting a no audio devices found. The loss of video appears to be connected to the pulseaudio update. Here is the command line output when attempting to play a video with VLC

Is anyone else experiencing this? How can I fix it?

There have been a few recent threads with audio issues:

Same here. It just stopped working about a day or 2.
I had to install pipewire-pulseaudio and all is well.

I switched over to pipewire and all is well again. The only difference being I have lost the keyboard keys for volume control and playback. I will work on that later.

Thanks for the suggestions,
Dave
