Tumbleweed/windows/dual boot

Hello,

Is it possible to install Windows 10 as a second OS on a laptop with openSUSE?

Thank you.

sure. it’s not different than any other distro.

prepare yourself first how much space you will allocate for root, home and swap. and allocate 500mb for separate efi partition. read some documentation of recommended root size because btrfs need extra for snapshots

before you install it’s best to reserve in windows the unallocated disk space you need. then in the installer choose the manual partitioner. make new partitions as outlined above

Are you aware you can install Windows into a virtual machine in openSUSE, so that you can run both at the same time? It makes allocation of space required simpler if keeping both on the same HDD or SSD.
