I am on current Slowroll with KDE Plasma 6. I am using a Lenovo Flex 3 (Chromebook, MrChromebox Coreboot) which is a convertible with a working rotation sensor and touchscreen.
I have tested on Fedora Kinoite where everything worked fine, but it didnt on NixOS and Tumbleweed/Slowroll.
I edited your tags. slowroll and plasma-6 were already there. We are not randomly adding tags at user request.
Same applies here. The “other languages” have more generic subforums, not strange since they have a much smaller audience. Their setups are also done by the respective mods.
But I dont get the combination restrictions of tags. Why can’f Tumbleweed use plasma6 too? Why is there no Desktop Category if this is a very specific thing? “Apps” are also generic, “Desktop” just makes sense as of course everything is an app, but this is about the Desktop Environment.
I come from the Fedora Forums where we used the hashtags way more actively to tag everything important in a post, so people know at a glance what it is about, and discoverability is way better.
That was a pretty rude sentence I hope you see that
Tags are not that helpfull. A basic forum search throws more results than only following some tags.
Having hundreds of available tags, doesn’t make orientation or results better. Better keep it slim and simple and animate the users to do a basic search befor posting.
No, I don’t see that as rude. And as I’ve shown, you can use plasma-6. Adding plasma6` as well would result in 2 tags for the same thing. For the rest of what I could say: see @hui 's comment.
