Tumbleweed repository incompatible for yum tool

Repository layout in openSUSE Tumbleweed not using Standards Rpm Metadata:

repodata/repomd.xml
primary.xml.gz
filelists.xml.gz
other.xml.gz

so that it is not compatible for yum tool.

So what?
openSUSE uses zypper for package management, not yum. (Although zypper does support the repo-md format too)

But if you think this should be changed, better file a bug report or ask on the opensuse-factory mailinglist.
