tumbleweed/repo/oss/ Valid metadata not found

I’m trying to install tumbleweed 64 from the current net snapshot. I keep getting the following error from ‘zypper ref -f’

stderr:

Hi
I would surmise that since an updated snapshot has just been release earlier ( a couple of hours) today your hitting a mirror that is still syncing;
http://lists.opensuse.org/opensuse-factory/2017-04/msg00885.html

Give it an hour or so and try again…

I suspected that was the problem. I tried for an hour before posting.

When I came back just now, the repositories worked. Then ran into the problem with nouveau that I and suse_rasputin reported on earlier with the login screen in an infinite loop.

kkirill’s solution of loading the latest xf86-video-nouveau fixed that problem. See his post #22
